Isometric illustration of Queen St W historical, cultural, and popular landmarks; using theme, “501 streetcar” as the line of connection. The visual moves from Old Parkdale through Commercial Spadina ending at Shopping district Yonge, a progression that represents what Queen St W prides itself on today – Fashion, Music, and Media. The colour scheme is chosen based on my feeling (and perhaps yours too) of Queen St W; that is, electric, playful, and gothic.
Designed and painted a 18’ x 9.4’ interior mural that reflects Toronto’s Queen St West community. Worked within store office hours, and ensured safety tools and materials that did not interfere with staff activities. Completed within 3 week timeline, and curated a mural reveal event alongside locally like-artists. In addition, skins were exclusively licensed to and produced for IQOS devices.
