A child has no concept of fear until he understands emotions. Fear is trust saying “caution”. Physical pain from a bee sting is a child’s idea of fear. Dive deeper into love and relationships for a teenager will learn social fear; Money, status, goals – the fear an adult has is based around merit; Then you hit midlife (or if you’re unlucky in early adulthood) your health becomes a worry and you fear death. Inevitably the “block” grows with each aversive event, preventing us from living. Now we define fear as demons from the past and we become stagnant. So how do we escape?
We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when adult are afraid of the light – Plato.

Branding for an independent eyelash extension service in Toronto, was inspired by the persona of Nudsuda Swangsang and Sailor Moon. I wanted to separate her brand from the majority competition in the beauty servicing industry – the minimalistic style, by creating a playful, illustrative logo that is inviting and doesn’t take itself too seriously.
